Direct Hire Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is conducting a search for an experienced Controller on behalf of a well-established government contractor. Primary Responsibilities Direct all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting. Lead and develop a team of approximately 10-12 accounting professionals. Oversee month-end close, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and management reporting. Manage audit, tax, compliance, and internal control activities. Perform financial analysis and provide reporting and recommendations to executive leadership. Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to government contracting regulations and accounting standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience. Prior Controller experience within a government contracting environment. Strong knowledge of

FAR, CAS, DCAA

compliance, and government contract accounting. Experience with Deltek Costpoint, JAMIS, or similar government contracting ERP systems. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills. U.S. Citizenship required.
