Oversee accounting and financial reporting for a complex multi-entity commercial real estate portfolio. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, variance analysis, and financial compliance. Oversee CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, lease-related accounting activities, and property-level financial performance. Optimize and enhance accounting systems, including Rent Manager and QuickBooks. Develop internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable financial procedures. Support acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic growth initiatives. Hire, mentor, and develop future accounting and property accounting staff. Controller Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience(public, private and/or combination of both) within commercial real estate Experience managing multiple entities, properties, and complex legal structures Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate financial reporting Advanced Excel skills Hands-on experience with Rent Manager and QuickBooks or similar ERPs Proven process improvement and leadership experience Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills #
