You'll lead and support Finance and Accounting functions at the company's Newington, NH location. Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller Manage daily accounting operations in accordance with GAAP Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports Maintain internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial activities Serve as subject matter expert of Federal Excise Taxes (FAET) Manage vendor relationships Work closely with various internal teams, maintaining a high level of customer service and personal integrity Perform additional tasks and special projects as required Qualifications of the Assistant Controller Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, Master's degree preferred 4-6 years practical experience in either an operating/product-driven company, public accounting company, or mix required CPA required Proficiency in cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and audit preparation (public audits preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, and ERP systems (Oracle EBS strongly preferred) Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to executives and other team members Strong time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and project management skills Please share your resume in confidence for this Assistant Controller position offering $130K-$150K/year, DOE, plus bonus.
