Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our construction project finances. Overseas and maintains financial accounting systems, including accounts payable, general ledger, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, financial statements, investments, and tax information. Participates in the development and administration of policies on finance, accounting, insurance, internal controls, budget, auditing, payroll, and investments. Acts as a liaison with outside auditors. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Responsible for the maintenance and control of all accounting and financial reporting systems in a manner consistent with State and Federal requirements. Supervises all Center general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections. Prepares and analyzes financial statements, cost reports, grant financial reports, and collections. Coordinates activities of all programs and departments to obtain data and prepare budgets. Monitors and analyzes expenditure throughout the fiscal year to maintain the approved budget. Participates in the establishment of systems and procedures used throughout the Center to maintain control of personnel, materials, and overhead that meet State and Federal standards. Assists all management staff related to the performance of financial management matters. Monitor departmental budgetary performance and internal controls. Works with the CEO, COO, and CMO to determine utilization reporting needs. Assists in the development of pertinent financial and utilization reports needed for presentation to the Board of Directors.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accounting or related field. Master's Degree in Finance/ Accounting preferred.

Experience:

Five years of financial / accounting management experience.

Supervision exercised:

Supervises departmental staff.

Pay:

$81,900.00 - $90,000.00 per year
