Job Description
The NA Compliance Controller is responsible for owning and reporting all actuals, forecasts, and long-range plans for US and Canada emissions compliance (greenhouse gasses and fuel economy). They will meet regularly with the planning, business development, legal, and Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance (TSRC); staying up to date on the latest legislation, purchase credit opportunities, and regulatory enforcement. Regulatory Compliance accruals make up a significant amount of the off-standard expense in the P&L and this individual will be tasked with identifying risks and opportunities, short and long term, in this space.

Prepare and reconcile monthly journal entries and forecastsReconcile SAP and OneStream for actuals (OS for forecasts and budgets)Provide period to period explanations on variances to FP&A and Investor RelationsIdentify and quantify risks and opportunities to the P&L and cashflowMeetings with Legal, TSRC, Business Development, and PlanningQuarterly SOX controls and audit meetings with DeloitteDeliver concise presentations to VP level leadership (FP&A, Accounting, Planning, etc.)Work with Business Development on purchase credit contracts and sourcingWhat you'll learn:

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Automotive Product Finance - In lieu of 8 years of experience, minimum 5 years with active CPA is acceptableStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability and ability to build clear, auditable modelsAbility to establish/uphold controls to ensure accurate reportingStrong communication skills (written and oral) and ability to prepare and deliver concise and management-ready summariesAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional partnersPreferred Qualifications:
