Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This pivotal role involves overseeing all accounting functions, managing compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic financial planning. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and other regulatory requirements. Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and month-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and compliance with internal controls. Supervise payroll processing, ensuring accurate salary calculations, deductions, and compliance with relevant regulations. Implement and maintain internal controls related to compliance to safeguard company assets. Oversee regulatory reporting obligations, including governmental filings and other statutory requirements. Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms to streamline accounting operations and improve reporting efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and account analysis. Extensive knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP, compliance. Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms; experience with financial management tools is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for effective decision-making. Excellent communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly desirable. Join us as we drive excellence in financial management!
