This role will have overall responsibility for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company's financial records and will oversee all general ledger and accounting operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, technically strong accounting leader with experience managing multi-entity, global operations in a complex and growing organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the global accounting and controllership function across multiple domestic and international legal entities. Oversee all general ledger, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities , ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Ensure financial statements and accounting records are prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable local statutory requirements. Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals across multiple locations and/or regions. Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and processes across the global organization. Own the global chart of accounts and ensure consistent accounting practices across all entities. Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidation activities. Ensure accurate accounting for complex transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, fixed assets, accruals, foreign currency, and other areas applicable to the business. Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules. Partner with external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and resolution of audit requests. Support tax, treasury, FP&A, and other Finance functions with accurate and timely financial information. Monitor compliance with internal controls and identify opportunities to strengthen processes and mitigate financial reporting risk. Drive improvements in close processes, reporting systems, automation, and accounting workflows to improve efficiency and scalability. Support implementation, optimization, and integration of ERP and financial systems as the company grows. Provide technical accounting guidance and research for new or complex accounting matters. Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting, regulatory, and statutory requirements across global entities. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and other strategic Finance initiatives as needed. Serve as a key accounting and controllership partner to executive leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred . 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant controllership or senior accounting leadership experience. Proven experience managing global, multi-entity accounting operations . Strong and demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience managing and developing accounting teams. Strong technical accounting, general ledger, consolidation, and financial reporting expertise. Experience with month-end and year-end close processes in a complex organization. Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-currency environments. Experience working with external auditors and managing audit processes. Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes. Experience with ERP systems and accounting technology; experience with a global ERP environment is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed. Demonstrated ability to improve processes, establish scalable controls, and lead through organizational growth and change.
