Assistant Finance Director - Maplewood

The Assistant Finance Director performs difficult supervisory and professional work overseeing the daily operations and staff of the Accounting and Payroll Divisions, while supporting the planning, coordination, and oversight of the City's financial operations. This position assists with the preparation of the annual financial report, budget, and five-year capital improvement plan; supports the Finance Director as needed; and performs related work as apparent or assigned. Guided by a commitment to Exceptional Service, this role ensures the delivery of accurate, timely, and transparent financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
