We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our leadership team and help guide the financial health of our growing company. Position Summary The Financial Controller will oversee the company's accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role works closely with ownership and management to provide financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and maintain efficient accounting processes. Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Monitor job costing and work-in-progress reporting. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements. Coordinate with outside CPAs for year-end reviews and tax preparation. Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management. Manage banking relationships and assist with financing activities as needed. Support company leadership with financial planning and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required). Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting role. Required experience using Sage 100 Contractor. Experience in the construction or electrical contracting industry is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of job costing, construction accounting, and financial reporting. Knowledge of payroll, sales tax, and construction-related accounting practices. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective communication and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$85,000-$95,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
