Organization SE CFO Business Unit Grid Technologies Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Professional / Experienced A Snapshot of Your Day You will help shape the financial foundation of the CPT business while working closely with teams across the Large Power Transformers factory. Your day will combine hands-on analysis, business partnership, and practical problem-solving—from supporting planning and execution to building strong controlling processes as the operation grows. How You'll Make an Impact Plan and monitor factory cost centers, review allocations and variances, and follow up with stakeholders on required actions. Review production order costs, investigate deviations from standards and forecasts, identify key cost drivers, and work with operations to take corrective action. Prepare standard reports that give factory leaders clear visibility into financial performance, cost trends, and areas requiring attention. Contribute to the monthly forecast and close for the Charlotte LPT factory by providing accurate submissions, reconciliations, and clear variance commentary. Support the budget process by developing factory inputs, aligning assumptions with operational plans, and monitoring performance against approved targets throughout the year. Apply regulatory requirements, internal policies, accounting standards, and internal controls in day-to-day factory controlling activities. Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete documentation, responding to requests, and resolving findings. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience in factory controlling, manufacturing finance, or cost accounting. Strong knowledge of cost center accounting, production order controlling, standard costs, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close, with the ability to analyze financial and operational data and turn findings into practical actions. Advanced Excel and experience with SAP or another ERP system; business intelligence and automation tools are a plus. Strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines while maintaining accuracy and control discipline Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and partner across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
