Job Information As a Controller, you will be responsible for overhead spend budget setting and analysis, Profit & Losses and inventory forecasting, ad hoc analysis, new product development, monthly bill of materials analysis, Long Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan responsibilities, along with the annual standard cost setting and analysis. In addition, this position has regional cost accounting responsibility as well.

Role & Responsibility Monitor Plan Performance Provide management with analysis on plant performance. Develop and analyze monthly plant financial forecast (both Profit & Losses and inventory), annual operating plan and 5 year strategic plan. Insure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. Capital Spending Management Partner with plant business unit managers to communicate and facilitate the achievement of the financial goals for the. Analyze capital spending projects via direct costing and make recommendations on make vs. buy decisions. Complete capital spend post implementation audits to insure productivity goals are achieved. Establish annual overhead standards. Assist business unit managers on setting overhead spend budgets and analyzing these budgets on and actual vs. forecast basis. Recommend changes to these budgets as deemed necessary by business conditions. Organize periodic physical inventory. Staff Management Supervisory responsibility of finance team. Responsible for training employees and providing growth opportunities for future succession planning. Mentor regional cost accounting staff. Job Requirement
Education Required:
Bacherlor's Degree in Finance or equivalent.
Experience Required:
10-15 years Knowledge of financial accounting, cycle counting, physical inventory, & cost accounting. Advanced computer skills (Excel). Ability to follow written instructions. Ability to communicate clearly in both verbally and in written form. Conversation skills in English.
CPA/MBA/CMA
preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment with a standard cost system (Oracle helpful). Prior Supervisory experience preferred.
Travel Required:
