Job Description

Financial Accounting & Reporting Assist in managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities, including property management, development projects, and ownership entities Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation Analyze financial results and investigate variances Property Management Accounting Oversee accounting for residential and commercial properties Review rent rolls, security deposits, CAM reconciliations, and tenant receivables Monitor property operating expenses and budget performance Support property managers with financial reporting and budget analysis Ensure timely recording of owner distributions and management fees Accounts Payable & Cash Management Supervise accounts payable processing and payment approvals Monitor cash balances and assist with cash flow forecasting Review vendor payments and maintain vendor relationships Ensure timely payment of taxes, utilities, insurance, and loan obligations Internal Controls & Compliance Assist in maintaining internal accounting controls and financial procedures Support annual audits, tax preparation, and lender reporting requirements Coordinate with external CPA firms and auditors Ensure compliance with loan covenants and investor reporting requirements
