Controller A client of ours is seeking a skilled and driven Controller to oversee the financial operations across multiple facilities. This role will serve as a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for accurate financial reporting, internal controls, cost accounting, and compliance. The Controller will work closely with operations and executive management to provide timely, actionable financial insights that support business decision-making and operational excellence.

Responsibilities of ControllerPrepare monthly internal financial statements and provide variance analysisOversee cost accounting processes and collaborate with seven plant locations to drive performance improvementsLead external audit support including preparation of data and schedules for financial and income tax reportingEnsure compliance with Sales and Use Tax regulationsEnsure accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentationMonitor and enhance system controls and financial proceduresPartner with management to deliver insightful financial analysis and respond to ad hoc reporting requestsEvaluate and recommend improvements to accounting policies, systems, and processesCoordinate annual budget development across all departmentsManage multi-location, multi-division financial transactions and consolidation activitiesWork collaboratively with leadership to interpret and present financial performance insights
