Job Description

Interim Controller About This Role We are seeking a hands-on, operational Controller to join our finance leadership team. This is not a traditional back-office Controller role—we need a builder who can design scalable processes, optimize financial systems, and integrate acquired entities in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment. You'll report directly to the CFO and partner closely with executive leadership to position us for continued national expansion.

Pay Rate Range:
$100/hr-$120/hr What You Will Work On
  • Own financial accuracy & compliance: Manage multi-entity close processes, GAAP compliance, and internal controls.
  • Lead system optimization: Act as in-house expert for ERP and expense/AP platforms, driving automation and AI-enabled efficiencies.
  • Build scalable infrastructure: Implement processes that support organic growth and acquisitions.
  • Partner with operations: Deliver actionable financial insights, support budgeting/forecasting, and build KPI dashboards.
Support M&A:
Assist with due diligence, onboarding, and financial integration.
  • Lead & develop teams: Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. What You Will Bring
  • Active CPA and Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience (5+ as Controller or similar)
  • Strong background in accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Experience implementing automation or AI tools in finance
  • Proven ability to scale accounting processes in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong leadership and executive communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed (Utah and Georgia)
  • Private equity-backed or high-growth healthcare experience, preferred
  • Prior Big 4 or national audit firm experience, preferred
  • Experience with acquisition integration, multi-location operations, and distributed teams, preferred What You Can Expect
