Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Corporate Tax to join a well-established Casino/Gaming company in Vegas (the position requires residency or relocation to Las Vegas, NV)!
Vice President of Corporate Tax Benefits:

Vice President of Corporate Tax Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Master's degree in Taxation (MST) or MBA preferred Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License 6+ years in a titled VP or executive finance role with the Big Four companies (Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, Ernst & Young) or
RSM US, BDO
USA, or Forvis Mazars M&A experience, analyzing the financial and tax impacts of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings Deep expertise in U.S. federal and multi-state tax regulations, transfer pricing, and compliance Expert knowledge of
U.S. GAAP, ASC
740, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle, and corporate tax platforms like
OneSource or Corptax Soft Skills Requirement:
Ability to maintain a collaborative and cohesive culture Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Excellent analytic, decision making, and problem solving skills
Vice President of Corporate Tax Core Responsibilities:
Aligning complex multi-jurisdictional tax strategies with the enterprise financial goals of a highly regulated hospitality and gaming business Strategic Tax Planning & Structure Design and implement proactive tax planning strategies to minimize overall tax liabilities and optimize after-tax profits Provide expert tax advice on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and new property developments or digital/online expansions Handle specialized gaming-industry considerations, such as tribal gaming partnerships, international expansion, and complex transfer pricing
Compliance & Financial Reporting:
Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all federal, state, and local corporate tax returns (income, property, and premium/excise taxes unique to gaming) Manage the quarterly and annual accounting for income taxes under ASC 740 (accounting for income taxes) and ensure robust internal controls (SOX 404) Monitor changes in federal, state, and tribal tax legislation to adjust corporate policies accordingly
Audit & Tax Controversy:
Lead responses and negotiations during federal, state, or local tax audits Manage relationships with external tax authorities, accounting firms, and legal consultants
Leadership & Licensing:
Build, mentor, and direct a high-performing corporate tax Director and their subordinates
