Responsibilities:
Oversee the company's accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records across real estate entities and related business operations. Lead the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring timely reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance with internal standards. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and analysis that support operational and investment decisions. Coordinate tax-related activities, including annual filings, audit support, and collaboration with external tax advisors. Monitor property and corporate financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improved controls and efficiency. Partner with ownership and executive leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and long-term financial planning. Strengthen accounting procedures, documentation practices, and record management to improve accuracy and organization across the finance function.
