Assistant Controller

Assistant Controller (Multi-Entity Environment) We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support a complex, multi-company accounting environment. This role works directly with the Controller, with regular exposure to senior financial leadership, and is expected to operate with a high degree of independence and accountability. This position is full-time, on-site in our Bellport, NY office and reports to our CFO. Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across multiple entities Assist in year-end and bank audits Maintain and improve general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and financial reporting Work within Epicor Kinetics and related reporting tools (cloud/ribbon reporting) Analyze variances, identify issues, and proactively resolve discrepancies Assist with consolidations and intercompany transactions Qualifications 7+ years of progressive accounting experienced Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting environments Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Epicor Kinetics strongly preferred) Advanced/intermediate Excel skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems without constant direction Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities What We're Looking For A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through Someone comfortable operating in a complex environment Someone who can handle constructive feedback Systems-oriented mindset Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Medical, dental, vision coverage, flex plan and 401k Paid time off and standard company benefits Important Note This is not an entry-level or development role. Pay:

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
