We are looking for an experienced Controller to support document-focused operations within a manufacturing environment in Lindenhurst, New York. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, organizing high volumes of documentation, and ensuring materials are properly scanned, compiled, and accessible for business use. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a structured approach to document handling, and the ability to keep information organized in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee document control activities to ensure records are complete, organized, and easy to retrieve.
  • Scan paper and electronic files accurately while maintaining consistency in naming, indexing, and storage practices.
  • Compile documentation from multiple sources and prepare files for internal review, tracking, and retention.
  • Maintain orderly document repositories and verify that records are updated in line with operational needs.
  • Review scanned materials for quality, completeness, and legibility before final filing or distribution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect, organize, and process documentation required for daily manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor document handling workflows and resolve discrepancies related to missing, duplicated, or incorrectly filed records.
