Our prop, furniture and fabrication shop services the entertainment industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the entertainment and special events industries. Clients include fortune 500 companies, TV shows, movies, celebrity event planners and more.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 + years solid full time work experience in an accounting position
  • Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Accounting function o Daily Sales Entry o Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable person o Reconciliation of Credit Card Payments, (Large Monthly AMEX Bill) o Administration of Merchant Service Accounts & Online Processing o Monitor and Track customer Security Deposits o Bank Reconciliations o Petty Cash Reconciliation/Replenishment o Reconciliations of monthly storage clients o Charge Backs & Corrections of Invoices o Job Profitability o Cost Accounting o Sales Tax Filing o Payroll & Cash Management § Process Regular and Commission payroll o Financial Statements § P&L monthly § Balance Sheet monthly o Ability to provide yearly budgets • HR function o Knowledge of insurance (worker's comp and liability) a plus o Manage Employee files o Learn policies and procedures • Report to CEO & Director of Sales and Operations o Attend monthly Directors meeting o Record minutes at Directors meeting • Learn and become proficient on company
