$85,000 to $95,000 annually Seeking Director of Finance to lead a mission-driven organization's finance and accounting function. This senior leadership role is responsible for financial strategy, reporting, compliance, budgeting, cash flow oversight, and team leadership to support both day-to-day operations and long-term organizational health.

Responsibilities:

Lead the overall finance and accounting function, including long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and oversight of financial systems and internal controls. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, annual, board, program, and agency-wide financial reports, while monitoring actuals versus budget and identifying areas of concern or cost reduction. Oversee regulatory and funding compliance, including tax filings, audits, Medicaid-related financial controls, CFR, CQR, CBR, HUD vouchers, federal award reporting, and other required fiscal submissions. Supervise and develop finance staff, including direct oversight of key finance leaders, while managing relationships with auditors, banks, committees, and external advisors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required; non-profit accounting experience preferred. Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Prior leadership experience with the ability to supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Experience with accounting software required; direct experience with Fund EZ is a plus.
