The individual will also be a key player in compiling financial reports to leadership and management. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, while monitoring cash flow, banking relationships, and internal controls
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports to support operational and strategic decisions while bringing efficiencies as deemed necessary to the monthly and year-end closing processes
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and margin analysis
• Oversee an accounting and finance team comprised of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and assistant controller
• Manage all aspects of the current ERP/accounting systems (MAPICS experience a plus), while adding and including programming interfaces to the processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across divisions Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements Qualifications
• Accounting degree from an accredited, traditional or brick-and-mortar college or university; CPA is required
• 5 - 10+ years accounting experience with manufacturing and cost accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and team building skills
• Ability to work in a hands-on environment with operations and production teams
• Experience with ERP systems (MAPICS, SAP, Epicor, etc.
