We are looking for an accomplished executive to lead a chemicals manufacturing business through its next phase of growth and performance. This long-term contract position will oversee commercial, operational, and financial activities while partnering with leadership to strengthen market position, expand revenue, and improve profitability. The role calls for a strategic leader who can align cross-functional teams, guide business planning, and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Lead the overall direction of the business unit, with accountability for sustainable growth, financial performance, and long-range value creation. Partner with the leadership team to shape and execute annual operating plans, multi-year strategic objectives, and budget priorities. Drive revenue expansion by strengthening existing customer relationships, opening new markets, and increasing share within targeted segments. Oversee profit performance by balancing volume, pricing, product mix, and margin objectives across the portfolio. Provide guidance across sales, marketing, business development, regulatory, product management, operations, finance, human resources, and administration. Maintain effective working capital management by coordinating inventory, supply planning, product availability, and cross-functional decision-making. Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting in line with corporate standards and performance expectations. Build an effective organizational structure by selecting, coaching, and evaluating leaders and team members across key functions. Foster employee engagement and skills development through clear expectations, mentorship, and ongoing performance management. Cultivate strong partnerships with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support long-term business success. 10+ years of senior leadership experience with direct responsibility for profit and loss performance. Background in manufacturing or consumer/commercial. Proven success leading cross-functional teams in sales, operations, finance, and business planning. Demonstrated experience in the U.S. consumer and commercial business markets. Strong command of budgeting, operational finance, and performance management metrics. Ability to assess market dynamics, competitive activity, risks, and growth opportunities to guide strategic decisions. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels. Experience developing high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and organizational leadership.
