Site Controller Position Overview A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Site Controller to lead financial operations for a recently acquired facility in the greater Cleveland area. This role will serve as the on-site finance lead, partnering with corporate and cross-functional teams while helping to build and refine processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee all on-site accounting and financial activities Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries and reporting Supervise a junior accounting resource (AR/AP) Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies Partner with teams across compliance, regulatory, HR, and IT Support budgeting, forecasting, and integration efforts Act as the primary liaison to corporate finance Qualifications Strong general accounting and financial reporting experience Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a standalone role Experience managing or mentoring junior staff Ability to collaborate effectively across teams Preferred SAP or other ERP experience (implementation/integration a plus) Experience in life sciences, manufacturing, or project-based environments Familiarity with project or milestone-based billing Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
