OVERVIEW
We are representing a client in the search for a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead their financial management and accounting functions. The client is a long-standing privately-held healthcare practice with multiple locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati / NKY area.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years' accounting experience required.
  • Business management experience required.
Compensation:
  • Salary plus performance pay _______________________________________________________________________ PURPOSE Leads, manages, and is accountable for Company's Financial Operations (AP, AR, Inventory Management, Tax)
Controls:
Creates, Documents, Educates, Monitors and Updates all accounting related policies, procedure and internal controls.
Reporting:
internal and external results reporting including Budget creation and updating Cash Forecasting and Management
KNOWLEDGE
Maintain active knowledge of the GAAP accounting methodology and best practices. Maintain active knowledge of internal controls
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Extensive experience with Multiple Class/Location Quickbooks Accounting Software Extensive experience with Excel for working with large complicated data sets. Effective encouragement, development and managing of direct reports Effective at identifying, discussing, and solving issues with the greater good in mind.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and Manages Company Expenses effectively. Implements Company Pricing Strategy including regular review of related expenses and adjustments. Supports the Financial Understanding and Performance Improvement of Practices Provides Direct Reporting support for the
Finance Dept:
Inventory Manager, Finance Assistant, WP admin team. Manage relationships with bankers, insurers, outside CPA firm, vendors Budget creation and Reporting Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions including integration with scorecards. Supervise cash management and banking activities including corporate Credit Card management Oversight and Accountability for accounts payable. Oversight nd Accountability for accounts receivable. . Oversight and Accountability for Inventory Management. Prepare monthly financial reports, DVM production reports, and other informational reports/analysis Develop and monitor Accounting Controls in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and corporate guidelines Ensure underlying accounting records are accurate and complete Manage and approve monthly bank reconciliations Keep scorecard Goals and KPIs updated for recurring leadership team meetings Direct tax compliance activities and assist external CPA firm in preparation of all company tax returns Completion of monthly and quarterly excise tax reports and sales tax reports Assist in directing corporate insurance policies Completion of special projects as requested Key Results Areas (Measurables): Monthly Financial Reports Completed, Approved and Published each month.
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
