This role will oversee general ledger activities, support process improvements and automation initiatives, and play a key role in helping modernize financial and operational processes within a stable and growing business environment. The Controller role is a fully onsite position based in Cincinnati, OH. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering long-term stability, strong leadership visibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a closely held organization. Controller Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting and month-end close activities Support financial reporting, reconciliations, and daily accounting operations Assist with process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational upgrades Help modernize and maintain accounting spreadsheets and reporting processes Support inventory, manufacturing, and operational accounting activities Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and business initiatives Assist with front office and administrative responsibilities as needed Partner cross-functionally with operations and office staff to support overall business needs Controller Requirements Strong general ledger accounting experience required Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred Experience working in a small to mid-sized company environment preferred Four-year degree required Experience with Epicor is a plus Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset Ability to work hands-on in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse workforce Willingness to adapt, improve processes, and support operational changes UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
