3008184717-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Consolidated Precision Products is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial operations for our aerospace manufacturing facility. This role assists with month-end close, cost accounting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and corporate policies. You will partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs, drive budgeting and forecasting, and support audits. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel and ERP skills, manufacturing experience, and a continuous improvement mindset in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. Responsibilities Assist Controller with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAPSupport and improve standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis Partner with operations to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and KPIs Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures Support external and internal audits with schedules and documentation Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and cost reduction opportunities Leverage ERP and Excel to improve reporting, data accuracy, and process efficiency Required Skills General ledger accounting Cost accounting Financial reporting (GAAP) Budgeting and forecasting Manufacturing variance analysis ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards) Advanced Excel and financial modeling Internal controls and SOX basics Audit support and compliance Data analysis and KPI reporting
