Client Position: Controller

We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Controller in the Wayne-County area for a privately-held company. This is a client search and we are seeking a detail oriented, hands-on professional for a $20mm manufacturing company. You will oversee all company and plant financial and accounting activities and present operational and financial results to management.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• General ledger entities
• Payroll
• Payroll tax processing
• 401(k) and Pension Plan Administrator
• Banking and cash management
• Bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements, and month-end close
• Year-end inventory and financial statements
• Special reports and data analysis as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience) required.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Must have satisfactory Excel and computer skills.
• Must be an analytical thinker and a problem-solver.
• IT experience is a plus.
