Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of Mid-Valley's financial operations Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Manage financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Monitor and analyze financial performance to seek opportunities for continual improvement Manage the budgeting and forecasting process Coordinate and work closely with CPAs, insurance and banking professionals, and external auditors Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations Support and collaborate with the IT Manager with advancement and the use of technology Supervise and mentor the accounting team (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract Billing, and Payroll) Manage collections and collaborate to resolve high-priority accounts receivable What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (MBA/CPA preferred) Experience as a CFO or similar leadership role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in using accounting software (ERP) and MS Office Suite Experience with accounts payable, cost accounting, general ledger accounting, and general ledger reconciliation Solid understanding of financial concepts and ability to perform financial analysis Excellent organizational and leadership skills Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities Manufacturing or similar building products industry experience will be given preference but not required
