Job Description:
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision, strong time management, and organizational skills. Experience overseeing a company's financial records, internal controls, and accounting staff. Responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Responsibilities Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and required reports for senior management and stakeholders
Team Management:
Oversee accounting staff, including payroll,
AP, and AR Compliance and Audits:
Manage tax filings and lead internal or external audits
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Help create budgets and track spending trends or variances
Internal Controls:
Set accounting policies and safeguard financial data
Month-end Close:
Analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and review income statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field with 20 years of related experience Advanced fluency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Experience in supporting ERP implementations GAAP knowledge Works independently with quick learning capabilities Adaptable to change Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
