We are looking for a Controller for our Bristol, PA location.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all technical plant accounting and internal control issues
  • Core team member of the finance team responsible for the design, implementation, testing and go-live for the finance & accounting system
  • Oversee the balance sheet and P&L preparation along with monthly performance analysis
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of monthly performance reporting requirements
  • Support planning and analysis activities including budget and forecasting
  • Oversee the cost accounting function ensuring that job costing, machines rates and job close-out and variance recognition processes are properly developed and reflected in the ERP and F&A systems
  • Ensure that manufacturing variances are properly identified, classified and analyzed. Work with operations management to provide insight as to the nature of variances and operational improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with plant management and other departments to discuss accounting issues, policy interpretations, cost distributions and saving initiatives, inventory and fixed asset controls / results
  • Directly communicate with plant and operations management regarding all material and expense expenditures. Ensure proper reconciliation of these
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction Qualifications/Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • CPA license or public accounting experience
  • Minimum 5 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 10 years of professional Finance and Accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software, SAP and payroll system, ADP
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction
