Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dance studio. This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and a friendly demeanor to create a positive first impression for visitors and callers alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management skills while supporting our team's daily functions. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly, check students into classes, and direct them to the appropriate areas within the facility. Assistant new clients with purchasing memberships, enrolling into the student portal, and processing cash and credit card payments. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls. Maintain organized records through data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing using Microsoft Office suite Schedule appointments and manage calendars. Nightly closing and lock-up of facility. Skills Proven experience in office management or administrative support roles with strong clerical skills Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly and professional attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel (spreadsheets), and Outlook for calendar management Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly adapt to new software tools and technical systems Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals seeking Part-Time evening and weekend hours. Studio hours of operation are Mon - Wed (5pm - 9:45pm) and Sundays (9am-2:45pm). This position and these hours are split between 2 individuals and is somewhat flexible.
