Position Overview Danella is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Division Financial Controller to lead all financial and accounting activities for one of our operating divisions. This individual will play a critical leadership role, partnering closely with Division leadership to drive financial performance, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in construction accounting, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, field-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with Division leadership to support strategic planning and operational decision-making Establish, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Lead and manage all accounting functions, including job costing, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules Review financial results with Division leadership and provide actionable insights Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and proactively address risks and opportunities Collaborate with Project Managers to review monthly cost reports, analyze variances, and identify potential cost exposures Support project closeout processes to ensure complete and accurate billing Prepare and analyze financial reporting packages for senior management Develop and manage monthly and annual operating budgets and forecasts Drive financial discipline and accountability across the division Oversee billing processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements and support effective cash flow management Ensure subcontractor compliance by tracking required documentation (lien releases, insurance certificates, executed agreements) and enforcing payment controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field Minimum 5+ years of Controller-level experience Strong knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting Proven ability to partner with operations and senior leadership Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
