Job Summary One of our full-service hospitality clients is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead its accounting operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you'll own financial reporting, close, controls, and team development in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a high-visibility leadership role for a detail-driven finance professional who thrives on accuracy, teamwork, and operational impact. What You'll Do Lead month-end and year-end close, general ledger oversight, and delivery of accurate monthly and annual financial statements Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Oversee core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, income and night audit, and payroll for a large workforce Maintain strong internal controls and support internal and external audits Lead, train, and develop the accounting team Partner with operations and leadership across departments to support sound financial decisions Produce management reporting that drives performance and accountability What You Bring Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5 to 10 years of progressively responsible finance or accounting experience Advanced knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Proven experience leading accounting operations and managing finance or accounting staff Hospitality accounting experience (hotel, casino, or multi-property) strongly preferred Proficiency with Office 365, accounting systems, and payroll systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence across departments and leadership levels Sound judgment, high ethical standards, and discretion with confidential information Work Environment Fully onsite; this is not a remote or hybrid role Flexibility for weekends and holidays as business needs require Ability to move throughout a large property (reasonable accommodations available) Local candidates preferred; relocation considered for exceptional candidates with a clear move plan (no relocation assistance) What's Offered Competitive compensation Full benefits package Leadership role with direct access to senior finance leadership Opportunity to make a measurable impact in a high-volume hospitality operation
