full-time Vetted Talent Group is partnering with a growing organization in the Sharon, PA area to identify an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an accounting professional who can oversee the day-to-day accounting function while also providing meaningful financial insight to company leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with the ability to improve processes, develop a team, and operate as a trusted business partner. Key Responsibilities Lead the company's day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions Oversee month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, and journal entries Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Monitor cash flow and support working-capital management Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Coordinate annual audits and work with external accounting and tax partners Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting Partner with executive leadership on financial analysis and business decisions Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Manufacturing industry experience 4+ years of management experience Progressive accounting experience with prior leadership or Controller-level responsibility Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing month-end close and preparing financial statements Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work both strategically and hands-on within the accounting function Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with operational and executive leadership CPA and/or prior experience within a manufacturing or similarly complex operating environment is a plus.
