Salary Range:
$90,000 to $95,000 Full Time, Exempt - On site Maternal and Child Health Consortium, MCHC, is seeking a strategic, ethical, and experienced Director of Finance to provide financial and operational leadership that supports the long term sustainability and effectiveness of the organization. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position plays a key role in financial planning, compliance, internal controls, budgeting, reporting, and operational efficiency. The Director of Finance will oversee core finance functions including financial management, strategic financial planning, grant management, accounting, financial reporting, cash management, payroll, procurement, audit coordination, and budget development. This leader will work closely with the Executive Director, Board, Finance Committee, and program managers to ensure strong stewardship of resources and alignment between financial strategy and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least seven years of relevant experience. An advanced degree or CPA is preferred. Experience in nonprofit accounting, public funds, and grants management is strongly valued. Candidates should bring strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, sound judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to ethical leadership, equity, and transparency.
