This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who can both supervise the accounting function and manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple restaurant locations . The ideal candidate will bring a professional demeanor, a growth-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-site environment. Experience with Toast and/or Restaurant365 is a strong plus. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and perform day-to-day accounting activities for multiple restaurant sites . Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review financial statements , account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules. Supervise accounting staff and help drive accountability, development, and process improvement. Monitor restaurant-level financial activity, including sales, cash, inventory, labor, and operating expenses. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance as needed in a hands-on capacity. Partner with operations leadership to provide financial insight into site performance and profitability. Help maintain internal controls, ensure accuracy of reporting, and support audit or tax-related requests as needed. Assist with system and process improvements to support a growing restaurant platform. Utilize Toast and/or Restaurant365 to support reporting, accounting workflows, and operational finance processes, if applicable. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with full-service restaurant accounting experience required . Experience overseeing accounting for multiple restaurant locations strongly preferred. Hands-on accounting leadership experience with the ability to both manage and execute accounting work. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation . Experience with Toast and/or Restaurant365 is a strong plus. Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Growth oriented, detail focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
