Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our organization's financial operations with precision and strategic insight. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all accounting functions including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and regulatory filings aligned with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), regulatory requirements, and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain transparency. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting analysis, and strategic decision-making. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data. Manage treasury functions such as cash management, banking relationships, and regulatory reporting related to governmental or non-profit accounting standards. Supervise and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in accounting systems, spreadsheets, Excel data analysis skills, and technical accounting proficiency. Implement and maintain effective internal controls for financial compliance across all operational areas. Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure adherence to international accounting standards for accurate financial reporting. Drive process improvements within finance operations utilizing advanced financial software and accounting systems to enhance efficiency. Experience Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance leadership role within non-profit or governmental organizations is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of

IFRS, GAAP, SOX

compliance, regulatory reporting requirements, and public accounting practices. Demonstrated expertise in managing accounting teams with strong leadership skills in finance team management. Solid background in financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processing. Experience working with various financial software platforms and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is essential. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis tools for detailed financial report writing and data interpretation. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial management.
