This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy, strengthening accounting operations, and partnering with executive leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Master's degree preferred) CPA designation preferred 7-10 years of progressive accounting, finance, or financial planning & analysis experience Minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting best practices Experience managing accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close Advanced proficiency in Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems Demonstrated ability to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to improve accounting processes, automate routine tasks, enhance financial analysis, and increase operational efficiency while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion Key Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll coordination, and financial reporting Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements and provide meaningful insights to executive leadership Reconcile balance sheet accounts and oversee financial reporting accuracy Partner with leadership to improve financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiencies Streamline accounting workflows and enhance vendor payment processes Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local reporting and tax requirements Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial institutions Mentor, develop, and lead the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Support strategic initiatives and perform additional financial management responsibilities as assigned
