Lee's Summit, MO Position Overview:

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a supportive school district in Lee's Summit, MO to find a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This role focuses on helping students develop fine motor, sensory, and functional skills to enhance academic performance and independence.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group occupational therapy services to students across K-12. Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans to support students' functional and academic needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other therapists to ensure therapy aligns with classroom goals. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, goals, and therapy sessions in compliance with school and state requirements. Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support generalization of skills. Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications:

Active OT license in Missouri. School-based experience required. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
