Support manufacturing and inventory accounting, including raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, cost of goods sold, and standard cost/production costing. Analyze inventory and manufacturing variances, partnering with operations to understand and resolve discrepancies. Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules, and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls. Present monthly financial results versus budget (BvA) and trend analysis to leadership, and participate in recurring leadership meetings. Support insurance audits, tax requests, and other external reporting requirements. Lead the annual budgeting process, prepare the year-end tax package for the external accounting firm, and support other year-end compliance tasks (e.g., 1099 oversight, insurance renewals, workers' comp audits). Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and other departments to resolve accounting and financial issues. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, or another inventory-intensive environment. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or a similar accounting platform; comfortable working across multiple systems and reconciling data between them. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
