Type:
full-time Plant Controller | Rutherfordton, NC | Hybrid Schedule Are you the type of finance leader who wants to be in the middle of the business, not sitting on the sidelines reporting results after the fact? We're conducting a search for a Plant Controller to join a growing manufacturing operation in Rutherfordton, NC. This is an opportunity to become a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with operations and senior finance leadership to drive performance, profitability, and decision-making across the facility. This role goes well beyond traditional accounting. You'll own the plant's financial performance, serving as the financial business partner to operations while providing insight into costs, inventory, manufacturing efficiencies, capital investments, and overall plant performance. The right person will be equally comfortable analyzing data, challenging assumptions, and helping leaders make better business decisions. We're seeking a manufacturing finance professional with approximately 10+ years of experience and a strong foundation in cost accounting. Experience in a plant environment is essential, as is SAP proficiency. While technical accounting expertise is important, we're especially interested in individuals who enjoy rolling up their sleeves, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing outcomes within a manufacturing operation. This opportunity offers visibility, responsibility, and impact. You'll work directly with senior finance leadership, gain exposure to strategic initiatives, and play a critical role in a business that values operational excellence and continuous improvement. This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring onsite presence in Rutherfordton three days each week, with additional onsite time as needed during audits, year-end activities, and other key business events. If you're looking for an opportunity to move beyond the numbers and become a true business partner in a manufacturing environment, we'd welcome a conversation.
