This role supports the Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and dealership financial processes. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and manufacturer reports Maintain general ledger accuracy and reconcile schedules Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow Assist with month-end procedures Support payroll processing and tax reporting Ensure compliance with dealership policies and accounting standards Review vehicle inventory schedules and floorplan reconciliations Assist with audits and internal controls Analyze financial data and prepare management reports Collaborate with department managers to improve operational efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in automotive dealership accounting Experience with dealership management systems (Tekion) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent organizational and communication skills Preferred Skills Automotive dealership accounting experience Understanding of dealership financial statements Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career advancement opportunities
