Financial Controller KarKey USA | Addison, TX (On-site) | Full-Time About KarKey USA KarKey USA operates a B2B eCommerce platform that specializes in locating and sourcing OEM parts for all vehicle makes and models. By matching Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) to precise part-level data, KarKey gives customers electronic visibility that improves order accuracy and fulfillment time, helping dealers and service providers eliminate tied-up service bays. We are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to help manage our accounting operations as we continue to grow. Position Summary The Financial Controller will own day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting for KarKey USA, working on-site at our Addison headquarters. This role is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records, leading the close process, maintaining strong internal controls, and partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, holds an active CPA or CMA certification, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing distribution/eCommerce environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and KPIs to executive leadership. Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets. Lead the annual budgeting process and produce periodic forecasts and cash flow projections. Ensure compliance with GAAP, applicable tax regulations, and other regulatory requirements. Oversee inventory accounting and cost of goods sold reporting for parts sourcing and distribution. Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team. Identify and drive process improvements, including optimization of accounting/ERP systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Active CPA or CMA certification highly preferred. 5-8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including prior supervisory or team-lead experience. Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience with NetSuite and advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience in eCommerce, distribution, wholesale, or automotive parts industries is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work on-site at our Addison, TX headquarters.
