Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives to promote growth and stability. Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to inform executive decision-making. Oversee accounting operations ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards. Manage financial model development for business planning, investment analysis, and scenario forecasting. Supervise audits, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and coordinate with external auditors to maintain transparency and accuracy. Evaluate potential mergers & acquisitions by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning. Oversee tax accounting processes to optimize tax compliance and planning strategies while minimizing liabilities. Utilize advanced spreadsheets and financial software to streamline reporting processes and enhance data analysis capabilities. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on project management initiatives related to finance systems upgrades or process improvements. Maintain ongoing industry knowledge of evolving financial regulations and best practices to ensure organizational compliance. Skills Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for complex spreadsheet modeling and data analysis. Proven experience in financial model development for strategic planning and investment evaluation. Strong background in mergers & acquisitions including due diligence, valuation, and integration processes. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), auditing procedures, and financial regulatory compliance standards. Proficiency with various financial software platforms used for reporting, budgeting, and analysis. Exceptional analysis skills to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights. Experience in tax accounting practices relevant to corporate finance operations. Excellent project management abilities to lead initiatives from conception through execution effectively. Superior client communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
