Job Description
About Us EKU Power Drives is a global leader in industrial drive technology, delivering innovative solutions to customers worldwide. As our U.S. operations continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Controller / U.S. Finance & Administration Lead to join our team. This position will play a critical leadership role in managing the company's financial operations in the United States while partnering closely with our Group CFO and global finance team. Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports. Oversee the general ledger, account reconciliations, and internal controls. Manage payroll administration, employee benefits, and insurance renewals. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis. Coordinate tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support business decisions. Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience working with ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. CPA designation preferred but not required. Desired Skills Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
