Assistant Controller

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller! In this role, you will take on critical financial responsibilities, including grant reconciliation, budget analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities:

• Oversee grant reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and assist in the development of annual budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Research and resolve complex journal entry issues as they arise.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to maintain financial accuracy.
• Audit financial records and transactions to ensure adherence to established policies.
• Handle billing functions and ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Collaborate on regulatory reporting requirements, including those related to government compliance.
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and requests as needed.
