Job Description

A not-for-profit healthcare provider located in Brattleboro, VT needs a Controller for their team! Your qualifications for the Controller position are as follows: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred Minimum 4-6 years' experience in healthcare financial management Experience with healthcare-related net patient revenue Knowledge and experience in reimbursement, internal audit, budgeting, financial analysis, managed care contracts, and management information systems Excellent communication, team-building, and analytical skills Benefits you will receive as the
Controller:
$100K-$160K/year, depending on experience Full-time, direct-hire opportunity Competitive, comprehensive benefits package For the Controller position your duties will include: Oversee financial operations including general accounting, reimbursement, budgeting and forecasting, audits, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, fixed assets, AR, AP including tax, closings, cash management, and accounting system maintenance Implement financial policies and internal controls in accordance with GAAP Establish and achieve department goals; develop, track, and report KPIs to CFO Hire, train, motivate, develop, and assign workflow to staff Foster a positive, team-based work culture that optimizes patient care and safety Participate in cross-functional teams to meet operational objectives and implement continuous improvement initiatives Other tasks as assigned Do you have strong financial leadership experience in the healthcare industry?
