Controller

We're working with a local organization in the Liberty Lake area that has an immediate need for interim accounting support due to bandwidth constraints and time-sensitive priorities.

Top preference is a Controller-level contractor but we are very open to a strong Senior Accountant or Cost Accountant who can step in quickly, own the work, and operate at a high level.

Key Responsibilities:

Own month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reviewPerform balance sheet reconciliations and clean up any discrepanciesSupport cost accounting / inventory analysis (if applicable)Assist with financial reporting and variance analysisHelp improve and document processes and internal controlsProvide general accounting support to alleviate workload across the team

What We're Looking For:

Controller, Sr. Accountant, or Cost Accountant backgroundStrong GL and reconciliation experienceExperience in mid-to-large ERP systems (manufacturing or cost environments a plus)Ability to jump in quickly, work independently, and drive resultsHigh attention to detail and a proactive approach
