Plant Controller (42656) Our client is an organization in the New Berlin area looking for a Plan t Controlle r. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of related experience, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail. The salary range for this position is $120k-170k +bonus. T he Pl a nt Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all plant-level financial processes, including general ledger maintenance, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting Execute month-end closing activities. Develop and evaluate financial models and business cases to support capital investments, cost reduction initiatives, and operational projects. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analyses, and performance reports for management review. Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards. Partner with procurement and continuous improvement teams to track financial impact from savings projects and process enhancements. Support audit activities by providing accurate documentation and maintaining integrity in all financial records. Manage the development of annual operating and capital budgets, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders and presenting recommendations to leadership. Conduct ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling to support data-driven decision-making. Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering skill development and accountability. Stay current with changes in accounting standards, manufacturing trends, and regulatory requirements. Participate in cross-functional initiatives, helping to streamline financial processes and strengthen performance management systems. The P lant Contro ller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field required. 5+ years of accounting experience. Experience in the manufacturing industry. CPA preferred. Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
