Full-Time Why This Opportunity Stands Out Lead the financial operations of a growing Wisconsin municipality with an approximately $80M budget. Serve as a key financial advisor to the Mayor, Finance Committee, and City leadership. Join the City during a period of significant development, infrastructure investment, and community growth. Lead an experienced finance team while helping shape the City's long-term financial strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead the City's annual budgeting process, financial planning, and ongoing monitoring of fiscal performance. Oversee TIF financing, tax activities, intergovernmental funding, and other municipal financing initiatives. Provide strategic financial guidance to the Mayor, Finance Committee, and City leadership regarding the City's fiscal health and long-term priorities. Lead and support the Finance Department while collaborating with Stoughton Utilities and other City departments on financial matters. Prepare and present financial information to elected officials and stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of government finance experience, preferably within a municipal, county, or state government environment.
